Nifty opened slightly lower and extended losses in the early trade, but buying interest emerged, pushing the index into positive territory. It moved sideways for a while before gaining strong upward momentum in the latter half to end with solid gains. View remains sideways to positive.
BANK NIFTY:
Bank Nifty opened lower and slipped further in early trade, but buying support pulled it back into recovery. After moving sideways for some time, it climbed steadily in the latter half to end the session with decent gains. View remains sideways to positive.
