The Commission can also disqualify candidates who hold public office in another country.

Consequences of Non-Compliance:
Candidates who fail to comply with the rules may face disqualification.
They may also face legal action for providing false information.

இரட்டைக் குடியுரிமையை வெளியிடத் தவறிய வேட்பாளர்களை இந்தியத் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் தகுதி நீக்கம் செய்யலாம்.
மற்றொரு நாட்டில் பொதுப் பதவி வகிக்கும் வேட்பாளர்களையும் ஆணையம் தகுதி நீக்கம் செய்யலாம்.

இணங்காததால் ஏற்படும் விளைவுகள்:
விதிகளுக்கு இணங்கத் தவறிய விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தகுதி நீக்கத்தை சந்திக்க நேரிடும்.
தவறான தகவல்களை வழங்கியதற்காக அவர்கள் சட்ட நடவடிக்கையையும் சந்திக்க நேரிடும்.
